Editorial standards

• We name our sources and link to them, so readers can check the original.
• Figures are traced to official data. Data pages list the publisher, dataset and period, and explain how each number was calculated.
• Where official data has limits, such as no breakdown by nationality, we say so on the page.
• We separate reporting from analysis, and label analysis as analysis.
