Ramis Luque arrives from Qatari side Muaither, which he joined in the summer of 2025, meaning the move keeps him in the Qatar Stars League for a second consecutive campaign and gives him an immediate familiarity with the competition his new employers are trying to climb. Qatar SC said the signing forms part of its efforts to strengthen the first-team squad with players capable of providing a technical boost. The recruitment comes as Qatar SC prepare for a second season under Spanish coach Bartolome Marquez Lopez, who is staying on after guiding the club to a sixth-place finish in the Qatar Stars League last season. Marquez Lopez's continuity in the dugout, paired with the arrival of a midfielder he already knows from the domestic league, points to a deliberate attempt to build on last season rather than restart. The club has set two objectives for 2026-27: improving on that sixth-place finish and competing in the Gulf Club Champions League, the regional tournament that brings together sides from across the GCC.
