Three killed in attacks on Riyadh's King Khalid airport, Reuters reports

Three people were killed and several others wounded in two attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, according to a report attributed to Reuters and carried by Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post in its live updates on October 10, 2026. The account has not been independently confirmed by Qatar Standard.

The Jerusalem Post reported that the Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation said operations at the airport had returned to normal after the incidents. The report, as relayed, did not specify the nature of the two attacks, who carried them out, or the identities and nationalities of the dead and wounded. It also did not say whether flights were suspended and, if so, for how long.

King Khalid International Airport is the main air gateway to the Saudi capital and one of the busiest airports in the Kingdom, serving domestic and international routes, including connections to Doha and other Gulf cities. The Civil Aviation Authority is the Saudi body responsible for regulating air traffic and airport operations.

The details come from Israeli media relaying a wire report, and they should be treated as alleged until confirmed by Saudi authorities or by Reuters directly. No official Saudi statement on the casualties, and no reaction from Qatari or other Gulf officials, appeared in the source material available at the time of writing.

Qatar Standard will update this report as verified information emerges from official Saudi sources.
